The China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), first held in 1979, is staged twice annually—once in spring and once in autumn. After 30 years of continuous innovation and self‑improvement, it has grown into the largest exhibition in the Asia‑Pacific region for medical devices and related products and services. The show features a comprehensive range of over ten thousand products, spanning medical imaging, in‑vitro diagnostics, electronics, optics, emergency care, rehabilitation and nursing, as well as medical information technology and outsourcing services, directly and comprehensively serving the entire medical‑device industry chain—from upstream suppliers to end‑users.
Each edition of CMEF brings together more than 2,000 medical device manufacturers from over 20 countries and attracts 120,000 attendees—government procurement officials, hospital buyers, and distributors—from more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. As the exhibition has evolved into an increasingly specialized and in-depth platform, it has launched a series of dedicated sub-brands in the medical field, including the Conference Forum, CMEF Imaging, CMEF IVD, CMEF IT, and ICMD. Today, CMEF has become the largest professional medical procurement and trade platform in the industry, the premier venue for corporate brand promotion, and a leading hub for information dissemination as well as academic and technological exchange.
