Single-use balloon intrauterine stent
Product Usage
It is used for intrauterine placement following uterine and gynecologic surgery to reduce uterine bleeding and adhesions within the cervical canal.
Mechanism of action
It consists of a balloon, a catheter, a connector retaining ring, and an inflation‑retention valve. Following hysteroscopic electrosurgical resection, a balloon‑type intrauterine stent is placed; the balloon serves as both a mechanical barrier and a supporting scaffold.
Product Features
The fill‑and‑backflow‑prevention valve port is a transparent Luer connector, enabling easy observation of the internal valve core’s extension and retraction as the injector port is depressed, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the check valve.
A radiopaque marker and graduated scale are incorporated at the balloon‑uterine stent catheter to facilitate healthcare providers’ visualization of the balloon’s position within the uterus.
